Biography

I was born in raised in Huntsville, Alabama.  After teaching for several years in Limestone County, I made the move to East Limestone County.  Since then, I was lucky enough to have my family move from Huntsville as well.  I have two loving older brothers, and very supportive parents.

I am married to my best friend, Keith Rowe.  He is an Athens native, and works on his family's farms.  We were married in June of 2011.  I am blessed to have a great husband, that comes from a wonderful family.  We moved with our four dogs to the Ardmore area in 2013.

I am an avid "crafter".  I always have several projects going at one time.  When I'm not painting or using a hot glue gun, I like to read, fish, and spend time with my friends.  I try to be a very eclectic person with my hobbies and interests.

Recently, I was nominated for Alabama High School Counsleor of the Year from the Alabama State Counseling Association.  This was an amazing honor and a very humbling experience.   I also served as the 2015 - 2016 Alabama State Counseling Association Chapter One President and the 2017-2018 Alabama School Counseling Association Secretary.
